2023 / Fleva stream and Provatonas
After the Dadia fire in summer 2022, the hydrological hazards team undertook a preventive study of potential flooding in the Fleva stream basin, also known as the Provatonas stream.
The study was sent to Civil Protection in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace in January 2023.

Following a request dated 5 October 2022, RiskAC supplied its available water-level measurements from the Ardas station near Komara on 2 November 2022.
The Directorate for the Protection and Management of the Aquatic Environment requested the data for a flood early warning system project in the Evros and Maritsa basin.
